Robert has always loved hockey and wanted to play since he was a young boy. He finally started playing hockey at the age of eight with AAAHA and has enjoyed every minute since that time. Playing in his third season for Pioneer, Robert will always cherish the friends, memories and experiences that came with the Pioneer hockey family. Robert has also been a member of the Pioneer football team all four years in high school, starting with the freshman team and moving up through the varsity level. Outside of athletics, Robert is part of a local volunteering organization and has been the Sports Editor of the Pioneer school newspaper for two years. Robert will decide between Michigan State University and other schools where he could pursue a college football career. Robert is grateful for everything his parents have done for him during his hockey career and will always be thankful for the opportunity that Pioneer hockey has given him to grow as student and athlete. |

Ever since I skated for the first time on my grandparents' lake at the age of four, I have been hooked on hockey. I have played in organized hockey leagues for eleven years. After two years on the developmental/taxi squad, I played on Pioneer's varsity team last year and loved every minute of it. My favorite memories are playing in the game at Michigan Stadium against Saline and hanging out with my teammates everyday. When not playing hockey I enjoy golfing, running and being with my friends. After high school I plan to attend college and study marketing. I also hope to continue playing hockey as much as possible. I want to say a special thanks to my mom and dad for their love and support and for getting me to those very early 6:00 am practices at Vets when I was a Mini-Mite. |

Eric learned to skate at the age of two and started playing hockey when he was four years old. He has been going to the rink since he was born and followed his brothers into the sport of hockey. This will be Eric's fourth year on the Pioneer hockey team. One of his most memorable experiences with the team was playing defense in front of his brother, Alex. During his freshman year, Alex was the senior Pioneer goalie. As a junior, Eric's brother Joey was the Pioneer defensive coach. What has mattered most along his hockey journey are the people and memories that the sport has provided. After high school, Eric plans on attending college to pursue a career in business and continue his hockey career through collegiate or club hockey. He would like to thank all of his coaches who spent time teaching him the game of hockey - especially Ken Grundy! Finally, he would like to thank his friends and family for their continued support. |

Jack has been playing hockey since he was four years old. He started off in Eden Prairie, Minnesota on a team his dad coached. They practiced on outdoor rinks in below-zero weather, which was perfect preparation for beating Saline in the Big House last year. He is entering his fourth year as a defenseman on the Pioneer hockey team. He would like to thank coaches Rob Palmer and Mike Hagen for sharing their love of the game with him. He would also like to thank his father for all the early-morning practices and for always supporting him. Jack will be attending Michigan State University and will be studying business. |

Ever since my first Red Wings game, I have loved the sport of hockey. At age 15, I finally convinced my parents to let me play ice hockey. I played prep hockey for two years, working hard to get better. I met Carrie Keil who helped me improve my skills. After skating on the treadmill twice a week for the past year, I am now on the NHL levels. I trained year-round to improve. My hard work is paying off now that I've made the varsity team. I would like to thank Carrie Keil, Darryl Nelson, Dave Debol, the Hagen family, and Blake Jobkar for helping me become the player I am today. I would also like to thank my parents Ken and Anne Seaman for paying for all of the extra ice time and training over these past few years. And finally I thank coaches Krohl and Fassbender for the opportunity to play varsity hockey. I am really excited and eager to learn from them to improve even more. Next year I hope to continue my hockey career and play junior and/or college hockey. |

I have been playing hockey ever since I was about five or six years old. Ever since I started, I gravitated towards the net. In every sport I've ever played, I have usually done the best as a goalie. It is something I have enjoyed my whole life and that has made hockey great for me. I have enjoyed playing on several different teams with several different teammates. I have enjoyed competing throughout the years and everything that goes on with a team from the locker room to team dinners or long bus rides. Hockey has been almost all of my life and I hope to continue to play hockey through juniors and eventually college. If I choose not to play hockey after high school, I would like to join the military. |
